We will take a boat to Machias Seal Island for Atlantic Puffin, Razorbill, Common Murre, and Arctic Tern, and explore scenic Washington County, Maine for northern species including Spruce Grouse, Black-backed Woodpecker, Gray Jay, Boreal Chickadee, Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow.  More Information...

Come explore the rich diversity of the lakes and mountains of Western Maine. This trip will concentrate on Maine's boreal specialties including Spruce Grouse, Black-backed Woodpecker, Olive-sided and Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Gray Jay, Boreal Chickadee and Bicknell's Thrush. More Information...

Register now for Summer 2008 Pelagic trips to Hydrographer Canyon

Four all-day pelagic trips out of Hyannis are scheduled this year: three to the deep waters of Hydrographer Canyon (June, July, August) and a fourth to Nantucket Shoals (November). The deep-water trip in June is new this year. According to trip leader Rick Heil, "June [is] a better time for a number of rare pelagic species, including Pterodroma petrels. Near the shelf edge and beyond is where the action is!” More Information...
