Weekend Trip to Downeast Maine
Friday, June 20 to Monday, June 23

We will take a boat to Machias Seal Island for Atlantic Puffin, Razorbill, Common Murre, and Arctic Tern, and explore scenic Washington County, Maine for northern species including Spruce Grouse, Black-backed Woodpecker, Gray Jay, Boreal Chickadee, Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow, and nesting warblers and thrushes. These birds have become increasingly difficult to locate, so we will arrange for a local guide to help us find these northern specialties. Cost is subject to change but is about $80 and an additional charge for the guide. Trip is limited to 14 people. Reservations are required by April 15, 2008.
