Cape Cod Bird Club Birding Walks

BIRDING CAPE COD WEEKEND

Sponsored by the Cape Cod Bird Club

On the Birding Cape Cod Weekend, members of the Cape Cod Bird Club lead walks to top birding areas throughout Cape Cod. Usually, there are walks in each town on both Saturday and Sunday. Adults and children of all ages were welcome.

Due to the lower participation during the 2007 Birding Cape Cod Weekend event, the Board of Directors for the Cape Cod Bird Club has decided not to schedule the event this May. There are several other events during the month of May such as Mass. Audubon's Bird-a-thon and the Cape Cod Pathway's Walks Weekend as well as Mother's Day and Memorial Day Weekend. These conflict with scheduling the BCC Weekend event, and the board felt that there's just too much going on during this month. The board plans on discussing hosting the event in September during the fall migration.
